The burgers are filling and the best I've ever had. The shakes are very expensive, but they come in a huge plastic cup (think chinese restaurant soup container). Theres also deals on shakes from time to time (e.g. 7$ for x flavor), so it also depends on the day you go. Overall it's my #1 burger pick anywhere in the universe.
I don't know but the prices are very moderate and the food is partially Greek, as well as burgers, soups, salads etc. Food as I have experienced, is home made, fresh, plentiful and tasty. Casual atmosphere.
First time eating here and had a wonderful experience. Burgers are grilled perfectly, seasoned well....and one other thing....are Huge. Any other place I can do a 1 lb burger no problem. When I ordered the waitress warned me that it was big. I recanted and went with a 1/2 lb. Whew..I am overwhelmed. Great atmosphere. Very small place but a must visit when in Winnipeg.
Best burger place ever.. Definetly going back💕🤘🏼🤞🏼
Great food would definitely go there again
Amazing. Best wax and spot free rinse I have ever used
Great food the two ladies I dealt with were very pleasant people and friendly inleft there completely satisfied and full
Blondie's makes a good burger. It takes an amazingly long time to cook, but presumably this is because of all the tender loving care that goes into it by the one chef who cooks everything. As you may know, Loving Care takes upwards of 15 minutes to sauté properly, and another 5 to make it real nice and Tender. Too many fast food joints these days go with the bland instant Tender Loving Care; Blondie's is a throwback to the days when everything took a little bit longer, but was a little bit better. The raspberry milkshake was good too.
Juciest burgers, piles of toppings, crispest fries, most excellent hot dogs, and milkshakes to die for.You get what you pay for, and everything here is fresh, made to order, and all crafted with great ingredients & care.A definite for the burger lover in us all!
Interesting experience. Good food.
Love her burgers . Always fresh and you dont have to worry about portion size.
Great food.
So it's well over 20 years since my last visit, and one bite of my burger yesterday made me regret all that time away. There's no way this burger is as small as it was listed, it was way bigger. Very tasty, extremely satisfying in a fun environment. Get there!
This is probably one of favourite places to get a burger here. I had the 1/4lb burger and it was much bigger and better than I had expected.
The burger was OK. Not something I would go out of my way to have unless I was in the neighbourhood. The waitress told us the single fries was enough to share, she was wrong. My buddy and I are big eaters, I know that doesn't apply to everyone though. The 7 scoop gourmet milkshakes looked amazing. Perhaps another time. There seems to be a massive disconnect in the pricing. A half pound burger jumps from $8 to $18 and doesn't include the extras. You're better off to order 2 x quarter pound burgers in that case.
Best burger ever. I was going to order the 1/2 pound cheese burger... the waiter asked if I had ever eaten at the restaurant before.. I told him no... So he suggested that probably the 1/4 pound cheeseburger would be more than enough. I hesitated, but ordered the 1/4 pound with cheddar cheese and fries. When the burger and fries were put in front of me I immediately thanked the waiter for stopping me from ordering the 1/2 pounder. Even the fries were exellent.. and plentiful. Definetly going to make the 300 km trip in again and maybe add the 7 scoops of ice cream sundae to that.
This place rocks. Great homemade and fresh burgers.
Blah food and overpriced. I'll never cheat on superboys again.
Delicious, huge portions, friendly staff, great atmosphere
I love the burgers here! Been going for years. Go hungry, you'll need an empty stomach. I'd go everyday but I'd be 400lbs. It would be worth it though! My only complaint is I live too close so I go more often than I should.
Ate here a long time ago and it was sooooooo expensive but the food wasn’t too bad. Sitting there reading the walls, you really get a feel for who runs the place. Then me and the girlfriend wanted to try this famous milkshake, waited in line for a good ten minutes before we left. Didn’t see a single person in the place, I honestly could have made it myself and no one would have known. Maybe I’ll return one day, always seems to be someone eating there.
Do not be fooled by the old corner building with a fainted Blondie signage and pepsi promo hanging above the angled entry door. When you walk in, the history of the building is covered with years of customer photos and quaint restaurant rules. Fresh made cheeseburger with fried onions, tomato, lettuce on a soft bun. Light crisp french friesReal icecream milkshake made with raspberries. A definite share and the cost is 16.00 for a one litre.
Beautiful burgers! Super tasty, and the size .... They are enormous... If you think you know what a quarter pounder from the arches... This is almost triple the size and triple the taste! All portions are huge, I haven't had a shake yet but I wouldn't have been able to finish one so I need to go back soon! And to anyone who gets yelled at by sandy, you probably deserved it
Worst attitude for a owner ever! I will never come back due to her attitude alone. Only thing I was satisfied about was the mad look on her face when I pocketed my change! 😁Usually I tip, but attitude and rushing before I order, and being my first time being there... was definently a last I also will not support her car washes that scratch your paint and the soap leaves a film that eats away at the paint due to cheap soap. Sell it to someone who treats people as they should may I add not one other customer was in there to be rushed.
First time we went there. Service was quick. Food was amazing. Relaxing environment. Love the Art work on the walls. Best Burger in town.
It was my first time going there. The experience far exceeded my expectations! Sandy's food was incredible! My vanilla shake was out of this world amazing! Sandy herself is an incredible lady. I loved meeting her, such a beautiful lady and gorgeous heart.
Alright food, but not worth the hassle of dealing with the owner.
Unbelievably good burgers! The milkshake was for three people. Pricier than the usual burger joint, but there is nothing usual about this place.
Delicious fresh burger ever!
Best burger I've ever had
Still in business after 30 years 😊
Good food and relaxed atmosphere owner/chef visited ourvtable to make sure we were happy!
Great portions, tasted excellent! Couldn't stop eating! Super yummy!!
Wonderful little burger shop in Winnipeg. It's unique personality and quirks are reflective of the owner, who definitely puts care in her food. If you're brave enough, try to finish the 9 lbs burger!
DO NOT EAT HERE!!!!!!!Disgusting unsanitary place, the floors where filthy there was a couch and a tv in the restaurant, the owner doesn’t talk to anyone, it smelled liked a sewer in there, the forks were dirty, won’t let you past the door. Was my favourite restaurant a few years back. Think it time to close the doors and call it a day....gross. Did I mention the hair in my food as well?
We'd often tossed around the idea of checking this place out but never really got around to it -- we're from the other side of town -- but a couple of weeks ago we found ourselves in the North End, and decided to give it a shot. This place is legendary, with a colourful owner, and while we'd heard stories about it, the reality far surpassed the legend. We opted for the Quarter Pound Burgers and weren't disappointed. They're bigger than the name says they are! The fries were really good, the gravy exquisite, and overall, a fantastic meal.Perhaps a little pricier than a typical hamburger meal, but the quality of the food is deserving of the price.Check it out -- you won't be disappointed.
The burger bun was fresh. The burger was very tasty. The fries were golden and crisp. Definitely one of Winnipeg's best.
Had the ¼lb burger and some fries, it was delicious, would recommend a visit
Delicious burgers and thoughtful yet sassy service! If you order a larger burger, it will obviously take longer to cook, but don't fret, the walls will provide plenty of entertaining reading while you wait! Would totally recommend.
The thing you need to know about this place is that you go here for the great food, not the ambiance or the prices. The burgers here are not cheap ($10 for a 1/4 lb burger, $18 for 1/2 lb), but for what you're getting, it's worth every penny (these patties are actually legit at least 1/4 and 1/2 lbs, post-cooking). Milkshakes are 7 scoops of REAL ice cream, and the fries are awesome. Been coming here since the late 90s and it's NEVER disappointed, will continue to come back. If you've never been and you like good food, do yourself a favour and check it out.
We went in on a pretty quiet Friday night. The place is awesome to look at, writing and pictures everywhere. We spent about $50 with the $16 banana milkshake which me and my S/O shared, and it was worth every penny! The banana milkshake was delicious, the food is incredible and the portions are insane! I couldn’t even finish my 1/8 burger, and I can’t believe people can eat the 1/4, 1/2, and 1lb burgers! Service was quick even after a couple groups came in, and the waitress was so friendly :)We’ll be back for sure to try more milkshakes and eat those amazing burgers! My only complaint is that the fries could’ve been cooked more, but still were very good!
The best hamburger in Winnipeg! I want to try so many other things on the menu but every time I come I go for the burger. Shakes are great to....but ask for the price first. Worth it.
It was ok. Nothing special, meat was a little dry. There were some McDonald's burgers on the counter that looks like they have been there a few months? That has to be a health hazard? It's getting pretty gross inside I don't know if I see myself returning. It's like they dont clean the walls to save the writing that is on them. Gross.
Omg! Outstanding food but make sure you bring a good strong appetite cause her burgers are no joke!!!!
Absolutely great burger!! Ordered a 1/4 pounder and its was way bigger then anticipated! Great and friendly service!
The burger was good, but not worth the 40 minutes of wait time.
Love the drive through car wash. Always cleans really well, and the people working are always a pleasure to deal with. Chris M.
First of all I gave it a 5 Star not a 2 star. Now this is Winnipeg's Finest Restaurant for Good Old Home made Food, with Good Old in your Face Family Attitude. And if you don't like it turn around and leave our Family Alone .
Excellent food!!! Huge portions!!!! Worth the 1 1/2 hour trip to Winnipeg. Great burgers!! Delicious fries!! Amazing strawberry milkshake!!
Burger was awesome, very good 🙂😋👍💯
Best Burger place in the city, by far. The burgers are huge and so good. The decor is a little overwhelming at first. But the food is absolutely amazing. Highly recommended
Being my first time being there the food was excellent i think its one of Winnipeg's top burger places
